Each Hobby Box contains one autograph or relic and 1 box loader. The base cards feature modern-day players, league leaders, All-Stars, Postseason highlights, and rookie stars. Short-printed base cards (#401-500) are found 1:3 packs, with various parallels available, including Black Bordered (limited to 50, Hobby Exclusive) and Flip Stock (limited to 5, Hobby Exclusive). Additionally, collectors can find Base Card Variations, such as Mini Base (numbered to 100), Throwback Uniforms (Ultra Rare), Image Variations (Hobby Exclusive), and Nickname Variations.

The set also introduces Chrome Variations, with 100 of the most collectible cards receiving the Chrome treatment. These come in Limited Parallels, including Refractor (numbered to 574), Silver Parallel (numbered to 374), Black Bordered (numbered to 74), Gold Bordered (numbered to 5, Hobby Exclusive), Superfractor (1 of 1), and Hot Box Refractor (Hobby and Value Box Exclusives).

The insert card lineup includes New Age Performers, showcasing young modern stars who are poised to surpass the legends of the game, Then and Now, which compares 1974's best players to today's standouts, Baseball Flashbacks, highlighting MLB's best moments from the 1974 season, and New Flashbacks, which feature the world's most memorable events.

The autograph cards include Real One Autographs, featuring on-card autographs of current and retired MLB greats, Real One Special Edition Autographs, signed in red ink and hand-numbered to 74, Real One Dual Autographs, hand-numbered to 25 or less (Hobby Only), and Real One Triple Autographs, hand-numbered to 5 (Hobby Only).
